Lake Beliș-Fântânele Lake is an artificial reservoir located in the northern part of the Apuseni Mountains, Gilăului Mountains, Cluj.

It was built between 1970 and 1974 for hydropower purposes, on the course of the Someșul Cald river. It has an area of 9.8 square kilometers and a length of 13 km, being located at an altitude of 990 m. On the shore of the lake is the Belis-Fântânele tourist resort.

In the period 1970-1974 the inhabitants of the old Beliș village had to move on the current location of the village. Hamlets, such as Milioan, Pleș, Dădești, Bolojești or Giurcuța de Jos, are now a memory and only in very dry summers, when the water level of the lake decreases a lot, you can see the ruins of houses abandoned by the moti people, the most famous being the ruins of the former Giurcuța de Jos church .
